Experience CIRCADIA: Percussion, bells, found objects and live electronics collide in this new commission by visionary percussive artist Matthias Schack-Arnott. Shifting between delicate other-worldly evocations and driving rhythmic waves, CIRCADIA moves between light and shadow with original lighting design by creative force Amelia Lever-Davidson

Developed during Schack-Arnott’s recent stint as artist-in-residence with the City of Munich, CIRCADIA uses synchronous activation of acoustic and electronic sound to create ambiguous hybrid resonances. By utilising an electro-acoustic approach to percussion, CIRCADIA evokes tracing, spectres and doublings and takes listeners into a textural and rhythmically dynamic sound world.
